Amanda Arthur,
Head of Data & Analytics

Amanda joined the agency in 2013 to head up the 35 strong data and analytics team. Currently, her key client responsibility is the data strategy for TV Licensing, which she loves because it’s rich in data and one of the most fascinating accounts she’s ever worked on.

At work

Amanda started her working life at a B2B list broking and event firm, which gave her good grounding in direct marketing. Amanda then joined BT’s centralised marketing team where she set up – and led – their first ever Data Planning Team. Leaving BT as Head of Customer Information, Amanda moved over to the agency world as Head of Data Planning and Analysis for Evans Hunt Scott (now Havas). Amanda was responsible for enhancing and driving customer relationship strategies for clients including E.ON, NS&I, Diageo, Volvo, Premier Inn and Barclays. Amanda’s career has spanned both client-side and agency, providing her with a unique appreciation of the rewards and challenges of both.

At play

Most weekends Amanda likes to unwind by watching one of her sons play hockey or rugby, which is always a very stressful experience. A great antidote to this is a spot of retail therapy and a leisurely lunch with her daughter. As for her own time, she loves going with her husband to the opera, concerts and the theatre.
