Proximity announces senior management promotions

Proximity London is delighted to announce two significant changes to the leadership team. Firstly, Lou Barber is promoted to Chairman, and will take over this role from Cilla Snowball, who will continue her close association with the agency as Group Chairman and Group CEO. Secondly, Chris Slough is promoted to Managing Director into the role previously held by Lou.

As we come to the end of our 20th year it’s fitting that we are able to promote someone into the Chairman’s role who has worked at the agency for every one of those 20 years.  There is no other person better qualified than Lou Barber to ensure that our unique culture is maintained and nurtured over the next phase of the agency’s development.

At the other end of the “years at Proximity” spectrum is Chris Slough’s promotion to Managing Director. It’s a clear indication that as well as nurturing the best from our past we also need new thinking and new ideas to evolve as an agency that sets the standard in the industry. In a relatively short period of time Chris has made a very significant impact on a number of our key client relationships which is a great indication of the quality Chris will bring to this new role.
