In the driving seat for LeasePlan
LeasePlan UK, part of the world’s leading fleet management organisation, has appointed Proximity London as their digital partner on their eBusiness transformation.
The agency landed the digital account after a three-way competitive pitch, which kicked off with an RFI to multiple agencies in April this year. Previous activity was handled by a number of local agencies.
Proximity’s initial brief is to rejuvenate LeasePlan’s online presence to reflect their category leader status, enhance user experience and put technology at the heart of their business operations. The agency will embark on a digital re-branding exercise and will commence work across digital channels including websites and mobile apps.
As cars become ever more intelligent in their make up, LeasePlan and Proximity will focus on areas of future innovation such as using data from in-car telematics, the equivalent of a little black box in your car, to transform the customer driving experience (think Knightrider!).
