Gabrielle Ludzker announces her management team promotions

Proximity CEO, Gabrielle Ludzker, makes a series of internal promotions to her senior management team ahead of an exciting 2017.

After the recent announcement of her own promotion, CEO Gabrielle Ludzker has made a number of internal promotions to the senior management team at Proximity London.

Andrew Waddell has been promoted from Head of Client Services to COO. A brand new role at Proximity, Waddell will be responsible for all elements of Proximity’s operational health. Waddell has over 8 years’ experience managing some of our biggest accounts (SSE, John Lewis Group, P&G) as well as heading up the 80-strong Client Service department and played a core role in defining the talent management approach here at Proximity.

Nick Baker has been appointed Head of Planning. He joined Proximity London in 2015 to work on the Lloyds Banking Group and The Economist. His hugely impressive impact has transformed the way we plan and strategically support clients. That alongside his enthusiasm, ambition and drive, makes Nick the perfect person to head up our growing planning team.

Sarah Blackman has been named Chief Innovation Officer. She has been a leading strategist and an avid new business junkie within the Proximity European network for over 10 years. In her new role, she is responsible for challenging and shaping our ‘Creative Intelligence’, and ultimately future proofing the way Proximity ‘thinks’.

Never before have all the pieces been so aligned for such precision targeting and deep insight into the consumer mind. I am really looking forward to transforming this convergence of art and science into something really powerful and effective for our clients”.

Adrian Hoole has been with us since 2003 and, in that time, he has worked across almost all Proximity’s major accounts and pitches. As Head of Customer Engagement, his newly created role is to help proliferate Creative Intelligence across the entire London Agency, developing our collective genius through the Creative Intelligence tools and methodologies.

Rory Park has joined Proximity as new Financial Director from sister BBDO company Redwood where he was influential in delivering sustained profit and market growth throughout his time there.
