Fundraising with a fork

It’s been a great week for fundraising here at the new Proxi Towers, with events in house to coincide with initiatives for two of our charity clients.

The first ever RNLI ‘Fish Supper’ campaign was launched in our reception area when over 50 of us got together to eat lunch, play party games and make donations. It’s the prelude to a weekend when supporters across the country will be inviting friends round and hosting similar events. As well as raising money, these meals are a celebration of RNLI crew members who regularly leave in the middle of their own supper at a moment’s notice to save lives at sea.

We’re also celebrating Guide Dogs Week in the most fork friendly way possible. To coincide with the final of Great British Bake Off our own cake-makers got busy and then brought in some of their creations. Needless to say, they’ve been selling like, er, hotcakes, with all proceeds going to our Guide Dogs client.
